bouganvillea - before and aft

This is our lovely bouganivillea in our front courtyard - it has grown alot this year and needs to be put in time out. Covered in thorns it is a nightmare to deal with, but is no match for the resident man with clippers.

This is time out! The man has stomped out the bougies once and for all. Now it is time to mend the fence. Good fences make good neighbors.

It's thorns and brambles will be replaced with bananas and birds of paradise. Fruit and flowers - yeah!

with a nod to - "if you give a mouse a pancake..."

If you ask a man to trim the hedges, he will ask you for a chain saw. If you give a man a chain saw, he will cut down the branches. If he cuts down branches then he will want to cut down a tree. If he cuts down a tree, he will make himself a seat and look cute.
